Several different trekking options around the Postojna Cave system have been prepared.

Easier cave trekking options are suitable for everyone, including school groups, and mostly take place around the passages of the Pivka and Black Caves.

Trails for more skilled participants lead outside of regular tourist paths, around the sections of the cave that have not been set up as a show cave, and generally require a higher level of fitness and psychological readiness. Walking around in the light of carbide lamps in the sections of the cave system that are not part of standard cave tours and can be seen by the chosen few only, will quite surely leave you with an impression you will remember for a long time. Treat yourself to something special.
