During winter months our electric train operates three times a day. In July and August it operates up to ten times a day.
Each tour in the Postojna Cave is guided and our tour guides will tell you all interesting facts about the cave in Slovenian, English, German and Italian. During high season, from May to the end of September, tours in French and Spanish are also available at 10am, 12am, 2pm and 4pm, provided the tours are arranged in advance.

Vivarium Proteus is open in accordance with the opening times for the Postojna Cave. It opens 30 minutes before the first cave tour and closes 30 minutes after the last cave tour.
