Adventure tours have been designed for anyone who would like to visit those parts of the caves that are not open for regular tours, experience more demanding passages, cross over water obstacles and relive the exploration of caves. Adventure tours are done in small groups, guided by experienced guides and divided in three difficulty levels. Prior arrangement is required for tours of these caves.

Erazem's Passage

Some climbing skills are required to visit the narrow Erazem's Passage (37 metres), through which the besieged knight was connected with the outside world. The tour, which takes an hour, is only possible in a group of 2 to a maximum of 5 people. The route taken is demanding and is not suitable for children younger than 15 years of ageBy prior arrangement and if a suitable number of adult people are accompanying children, the passages can also be visited by children younger than 15 years of age.. The exit is located on the plateau surface above the cave.

To the Wind Hole

More daring visitors can take a guided tour from the Great Hall through the Old Cave to the Wind Hall, a narrow passage with a strong draft of air. The easy route takes an hour to walk.

The East Passage

The East Passage tour takes between 3 and 6 hours. A demanding and strenuous caving tour to the Belščica siphon is only possible in groups of 2 to a maximum of 5 people and is not suitable for children younger than 15 years of ageBy prior arrangement and if a suitable number of adult people are accompanying children, the passages can also be visited by children younger than 15 years of age..

Instructions for visitors

Notification ahead of time (a minimum of 3 working days before the planned tour) is required. An advance payment of 30 % is necessary. Tour participants are required to submit a written consent of participation in the caving tour. The hire of suitable caving equipment, whenever necessary, is included in the price. Warm clothing is recommended for tours of the East Passage and Erazem's Passage: long sleeves, long trousers, warm socks, rubber gloves and some spare clothes.
