We would like to inform you that Postojna Cave and all Postojna Cave Park sights are currently closed to the public, as are Hotel Jama and other food & beverage, commercial and accommodation establishments within the park. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, this measure was necessary to protect public health and to prevent the spread of the pandemic.
In anticipation of better times, we would like to invite you to book tours and your summer getaway in our accommodation facilities from 18 May onwards. The final confirmation of reservations will be given as soon as we know the exact date of our reopening and more about the reopening requirements. You can change or cancel your reservations for free up to 48 hours before arrival.
We look forward to your visit.

Plan Your Visit
There is no need for your visit to start and end with a tour of Postojna Cave – the Postojna Cave Park offers a number of other interesting experiences and adventures. You can visit our baby dragons, travel back in time to the Middle Ages at the Predjama Castle or enjoy the interactive karst exhibition. To help you plan your visit, you can check how much time each individual experience takes. If you have tickets to several of the Postojna Cave Park sights, you can use all of them – except the Postojna Cave ticket – within 30 days of collecting the tickets at the ticket office. The Postojna Cave Park boasts a variety of food and beverage establishments, which offer both quick snacks and relaxed gourmet meals. One day won't be long enough? Extend your visit by staying overnight at the legendary Hotel Jama, one of Slovenia's best-rated hotels.
